BLINDSIGHT

My blindsight, that primal pre-conscious vision we share with frogs and lizards, leads me to a strange dark world between figure and abstract. I throw
myself into the drawing because I know that if I hesitate for even a second all will
be lost.
Three hours later the floor around me is littered with drawings. Who are all those
mysterious faces, these portraits of people I have never seen ? How did those
organic forms twisting in and out of an evolutionary swamp find their way into my
drawings ?
I don't understand them.
They just slither away.
But I know that they exist.
